Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is sharing details about what the agency calls a "hog-wild adventure."
The Rescue 20 ambulance crew came upon a scene in which a piglet was running across a roadway.
The animal had eluded several good Samaritans who had pulled over and tried to chase him.
Fire rescue workers helped to corral the piglet and drove him to a nearby animal rescue.
The animal's origins are unknown.
