Volunteers Needed For Local Food Drives As Shutdown Continues

Non-profits across South Florida looking for a few good men and women to volunteer as they hold food drives for those going without federal food assistance during the government shutdown. Pantry of Broward's Maureen Luna says the loss of SNAP benefits couldn't come at a worse time with the holidays right around the corner. They are looking for volunteers aged 16 or older. A half million people in South Florida rely on the benefits.
