A Palm Beach County landlord is locked up for allegedly being a video voyeur.
Edher Ramriez Delgadillo was arrested after a woman renting a room from him discovered a hidden camera, disguised as a Wi-Fi device on the ceiling.
"It's not just unethical...it's illegal and deeply invasive."
Tech expert Craig Agranoff tells CBS 12 News that hidden cameras are typically disguised to look like everyday items.
"Smoke detectors, outlets, power strips, alarm clocks, air purifiers, picture frames, routers, lamps."
To spot them, he suggests looking for tiny holes or lenses that might conceal a camera, check for wires or cables that seem out of place or use your phone's flashlight and watch to see if the lens reflects the light back at you.
Ramirez Delgadillo faces a third degree felony for digital voyeurism.
