Miami Beach's Own "Forrest Gump" Being Honored Today

Miami Beach is honoring a man who has become a local celebrity for running eight miles on the beach for the past five decades-without missing one day. Commissioner Alex Fernandez says they're hosting a "Run with Raven" this afternoon to celebrate this feat. A street on South Beach will now be called Robert "Raven" Kraft Way for the 74-year-old athlete who began running as a way to get over his anger when song lyrics he wrote were stolen from him and sold. The city even gave him a special pass so he could run the beach during COVID.
