Several commemoration ceremonies on tap this weekend to mark Kristallnacht, the "Night of Broken Glass" symbolizing the start of the Holocaust. Lourdes Suarez says this year 150 Israeli's have been invited to South Florida to be honored for their role in trying to protect their friends and families on October 7th. The families will attend community-building activities to try and alleviate the trauma and stress they faced fighting off attackers. There will be Shabbat dinners, pool parties and a gala Thursday night at the Shul of Bal Harbor.
