St. Petersburg, FL - A middle school student was injured in a shooting incident on a school bus in St. Petersburg on Tuesday morning.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
According to police, the student was the only person on the bus with the firearm.
The extent of the injuries is currently unknown.
Local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
