A high school teacher on the Treasure Coast is accused of possessing methamphetamine and GHB, known as the "date rape drug."
School District spokesman Derek Lowe tells CBS 12 News that 45-year-old Christopher Morin teaches social studies at Martin County High School but is out of the classroom.
"He's been suspended without pay until this kind of plays out. We'll be making a recommendation for his termination next month."
Officials say he was chatting with an undercover deputy on the Grindr app and agreed to meet a man, while claiming to have the drugs.
The Sheriff's Office says Morin had more than 3 grams of meth and nearly 25 grams of GHP in his vehicle.
Morin was reprimanded by the school district three years ago for a photo that circulated online showing him kneeling on a bed dressed in nothing but a harness.
