Debris piles left behind after Hurricane Milton's tornadoes are leading to the discovery of venomous snakes in Martin County.

They include a coral snake found last week near a home in Port Salerno and a diamondback rattlesnake in Palm City.

Animal Control officials say that until all of these piles are picked up, don't get too close to them because snakes could be lurking inside.

If you're walking your dog, don't be on your phone so that you can be aware.
