The manslaughter trial of a mother who is accused of killing her twin toddlers last February has been postponed, again.
The Miami-Dade state prosecutor has asked for another continuance in Shirlene Alcime's double homicide case which was supposed to go to trial in December.
State Prosecutor Natalie Snyder told Judge Ellen Venzer that there's a hold up with some police reports.
Defense attorney Lauren Dawson says she cannot conduct dozens of depositions until she gets the reports.
The medical examiner struggled for months to determine the twin's cause of death but could only rule it a homicide.
Judge Venzer tentatively set a new trial date for March of next year.
