Wellington, FL - Hurricane Milton's landfall brought with it a massive tornado outbreak across South Florida on Wednesday, including one tornado that formed miles away from Mar-a-Lago.

One of the areas that was affected was Wellington, a city of 66,000 located just 15 miles west of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.

While there is no immediate information regarding damage or injuries caused by the tornado in Wellington, videos of the twister have circulated on social media.

The National Weather Service issued urgent warnings for residents to seek shelter immediately.

As of 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Florida had faced over 50 tornado warnings for separate cells.

Several residents reported damage to their homes, with one homeowner in Fort Myers telling CNN that a tornado "sucked the whole roof off" their house.

Although tornadoes are common occurrences during tropical system landfalls, they are typically less powerful and larger than those seen in other regions like "Dixie Alley" or "Tornado Alley."
