A landmark restaurant on the Treasure Coast will be staying open after getting a lot of support from the community.

Last month, the owner of Harry and the Natives in Hobe Sound announced on Facebook that the doors would be closing for good due to financial struggles and the higher cost of food.

The restaurant has been around for over 70 years.

Now, however, Harry MacArthur says the amount of support he has received since that announcement has prompted him to reconsider his decision.

He plans to retool the menu and put a board together to review the business to see how it can improve.

MacArthur appears to have gotten a boost from Fox and Friends, which was there this morning. Among those stopping by for the live broadcast were Sean Hannity, Congressman Brian Mast and Fox News anchor Bret Baier, who was seen on camera cooking some eggs.
