Miami, FL - A robbery suspect was taken into custody after a lengthy standoff with Miami Police SWAT team members on Tuesday.
According to Miami Police, the incident began when officers attempted to serve a warrant at an apartment complex near Northwest 67th Street and 13th Avenue in Liberty City.
The suspect, who has not been identified, barricaded themselves inside the residence, prompting a response from the Miami Police SWAT team.
After several hours of negotiations, authorities successfully detained the individual.
Detectives are investigating the incident and maintain a small perimeter around the area.
No injuries were reported during Tuesday's stand off.
