CLOSURES: Tallahassee Residents Brace for Helene

A Hurricane Warning has been issued for Tallahassee and surrounding areas. The National Weather Service forecasts tropical storm force winds starting Thursday afternoon, with potential gusts up to 55 mph. Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a state of emergency for 61 of Florida’s 67 counties.

    • Leon County Schools: Closing early on Wednesday and canceling classes on Thursday and Friday.
