Miami, FL - The Miami Dolphins teamed up with a South Florida air conditioning company to provide a struggling military family with a much-needed new air conditioning unit.
Army Sgt. First Class Daniel Matthews and his wife, Jonell, were surprised with a brand-new air conditioning unit after the Dolphins learned of their struggles with the previous unit in their new home.
Blake Ferguson, representing the Miami Dolphins, expressed the organization's appreciation for Matthews' service.
"On behalf of the organization and my family, I just want to thank you for your service," Ferguson said. "We have a brand new air conditioning unit for you today. Just on behalf of ourselves and Air Pros, we cannot thank you enough for what you do for this country."
Air Pros, a veteran-owned and operated company, was equally committed to helping the Matthews family.
Chris Mucha, from Air Pros, emphasized the company's dedication to supporting veterans and active duty service members.
"Mr.Matthews is a veteran for this country and we are a veteran-owned and operated company, so these are the ones kind of special to us," Mucha said. "We really want to show the community that we support them and we appreciate everything they do for us."
The new air conditioning unit comes complete with a 10-year warranty.
