It's been quite the past week for Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw.

On Tuesday he won the Democrat primary to go against Republican Michael Gauger, his former longtime chief deputy, in the general election.

Three days earlier, Bradshaw was given the prestigious President's Award for Lifetime Achievement.

The award celebrates individuals who have dedicated themselves to community service, emphasizing its historical and social importance.
