New discoveries in Broward County could shed some light on mysteries surrounding the disappearances of three people decades ago. Human remains of three people were found in the city of Plantation.
Plantation Fire Rescue says the remains of a woman and a child were found in a car submerged in a canal near Southwest First Street. A search team called Sunshine State Sonar believes the remains were in the canal for 50 years.
Another car found in a canal near Wimbledon Lakes Drive contained the remains of a man believed to be there for 20 years. Their identities have not been released. There's also no word on how they died.
