Police say a car found submerged in a Miramar canal last night is one being sought in the disappearance of an elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease whose been missing for over a week. John Tormey says they think his 81-year-old mom Carol was driving her black Chevy Colorado from Ft. Lauderdale to Deerfield Beach, but they have no idea where she is. Family and friends have been distributing flyers in an effort to track her down. Volunteers have been scouring local lakes with sonar equipment to see if they can detect any cars in the water.
