(Miami, FL) -- Hurricane Beryl is expected to slam the Caribbean as an "extremely dangerous" Category 4 hurricane.
The latest update from the National Hurricane Center says Beryl is packing sustained winds of 130 miles an hour as it churns about 350 miles east-southeast of Barbados. Forecasters say Beryl will bring life-threatening winds and storm surge to the Windward islands starting early Monday morning.
A hurricane warning is in effect for Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
