The Paris Olympic Village for this summer's games won’t have air conditioning.
Instead, a system of water pipes under the floorboards will cool rooms to about 75 degrees.
The decision not to install AC was an effort by organizers to have the “greenest ever Games.”
The Paris Olympic committee will provide cooling fans, but many countries, including the United States, will offer athletes portable AC units.
