An upcoming tax-free shopping period that lawmakers dubbed “Freedom Month” begins Monday.
The tax holiday will allow shoppers to avoid paying sales taxes on a wide range of recreational items and activities like concerts and sporting events.
Florida Retail Federation President Scott Shalley hopes the more narrowed focus will increase consumer awareness and provide a summer boost to retailers.
The Freedom Holiday begins Monday (July 1st) and runs through July 31st. Find qualifying items here.
