A suspected serial bank robber is in custody.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies have arrested 51-year old Daniel Cruz after five bank robberies in three days last week.
He was in court on Tuesday, to face charges for the incident at a Wells Fargo in Palm Springs on Thursday, a nearby PNC bank on Friday and three other robberies, all committed without a firearm.
In each case, deputies say Cruz went up to a teller's window holding his waistband and demanding cash, while repeatedly threatening both employees and customers, but never pulling out a weapon.
He's being held on $250,000 bond.
