A federal appeals court won't hear any more complaints against Fort Pierce Judge Ailleen Cannon.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit has acted after an order from Chief Judge William Pryor Jr, who cites at least a thousand filings in recent weeks that appear to be part of what he calls "an orchestrated campaign" to remove Federal Judge Cannon from former President Trump's classified documents case.
Trump appointed the judge to the bench in 2020 and Democrats claim she is “slow-walking” the case as defense attorneys file multiple challenges.
But the chief judge says there has been no evidence linked to any of the complaints that have been considered so far and most of those complaints are substantially similar.
