The Panthers have won their second Atlantic Division crown in three seasons.
They needed a win over Toronto and a Bruins loss last night to clinch the division.
Both scenarios taking place as the Panthers beat the Maple Leafs 5-2 and the Bruins lost 3-1 to the Ottawa Senators.
Florida's Sam Reinhart scored twice, and Anthony Stolarz made 24 saves.
The Panthers will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the playoffs.
