Road Rage Erupts Into Machete Mayhem In Southwest Florida Incident

Lee County, FL - A road rage incident on Wednesday escalated into a weaponized brawl after a driver threatened another driver with a machete on State Road 82 near Gunnery Road in Lee County.

Witnesses reported a chaotic scene with drivers involved in a physical altercation that spilled onto the median of the highway.

The situation reportedly began when one driver exited their vehicle and punched another driver in the face before dragging them out of their car.

The victim attempted to defend themself, with one individual brandishing a machete, while others wielded pipes.

The initial aggressor fled the scene, leaving stunned witnesses and damaged vehicles in their wake.

No serious injuries were reported.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident but has not yet made any arrests.
