Alcohol is suspected in a water crash at South Pointe Park.
Miami Beach Police say a man was drunk behind the wheel when he drove into the water yesterday morning. He managed to swim to safety, and his car was later removed from the water.
Police say he admitted he was drinking before the crash, and failed a field sobriety test.
He's identified as Flagami's Yandeivy Chavez Dominguez. The 22-year-old is charged with driving under the influence.
