St. Lucie County, FL - Florida's Treasure Coast is set to welcome its first Buc-ee's, as the iconic Texas-based travel center is reportedly planning to open a facility in St. Lucie County.

According to TCPalm, Buc-ee's submitted site plans for a massive location near the I-95 Indrio Road interchange in St. Lucie County.

The proposed location features a 73,000-square-foot retail space, 2.2 million square feet overall, 120 gas pumps, nearly 800 parking spaces, and bus parking.

The final design awaits the St. Lucie County Commission's approval.

If approved, the St. Lucie County location could be Buc-ee's fourth Florida location, joining existing centers in Daytona Beach and St. Augustine, while an 80,000-square-foot Buc-ee's is currently planned for Marion County next year.

Reports indicate the Treasure Coast approval process could take several months.
