CDC: More than 100 Passengers Sick Aboard Cruise Ship from Florida

The CDC says 139 people onboard a cruise ship from Fort Lauderdale are suffering from diarrhea and vomiting.

At least 120 passengers and 15 crew members traveling on the Queen Victoria that departed Florida January 22nd are reporting the gastrointestinal illness.

In response, the CDC said the cruise line has isolated the sick passengers and crew and stepped-up cleaning and disinfection.

The cruise is headed to San Francisco and Hawaii and ends on February 12th.

The ship has over 18-hundred passengers and 950 crew members on board.
