West Palm Beach Police say a worker is hospitalized after he became trapped underneath an elevator.
It happened Thursday morning in a downtown parking garage and the intersection of North Olive Avenue and Banyan Boulevard had to be closed for the rescue and investigation.
The worker has been identified as 48-year old Joseph Cassius. He suffered a head injury but was conscious and alert while being taken to the hospital.
OSHA is on the scene.
