With deteriorating weather conditions expected to worsen on Saturday, the city of Boca Raton has issued a formal cancellation of its highly anticipated boat parade.
After consultation with the National Weather Service and public safety officials, this year’s Boat Parade is canceled due to severe weather conditions expected this weekend.
The event will not be rescheduled.
The Seminole Hard Rock's Winterfest Boat Parade,also has been canceled. Organizers decided to cancel this year’s parade in the "interest of safety as adverse weather conditions pose potential risks to participants and spectators."
The city of Pompano Beach has decided to postpone its 61st Annual CHAOS Pompano Beach/Lighthouse Point/Deerfield Beach Holiday Boat Parade until December 21st.
