Meta is rolling out a highly requested feature for its Threads app - how to get rid of it.
Users are now able to delete their Threads account without also getting rid of their Instagram profile.
The deletion feature can be found by going to "Account" under "Settings" and selecting "Delete or deactivate profile."
Threads launched in July and was initially touted as a "Twitter killer, "but Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg revealed Threads is only seeing about 100 million monthly users -- down by over half from its at launch.
