Police in Boynton Beach are trying to figure out why a dead person was found on the roof of an amphitheater.
The body was found on top of the Centennial Park Amphitheater in the early evening hours Tuesday.
A ladder and stretcher were brought in to retrieve the body.
Authorities have not said whether the victim was a man or a woman or how they might have passed away.
The amphitheater is home to monthly concerts and the city's annual Pirate Fest was held there during the last weekend of October.
