Orange County, FL - A 22-year-old man is facing video voyeurism charges after allegedly recording a 10-year-old boy in the restroom of Walt Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa last month.
Orange County sheriff's deputies responded to an incident at Walt Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on the evening of October 6th.
According to an arrest affidavit, a family was dining at the Grand Floridian Café when their 10-year-old son left the table to use the restroom.
Upon his return, the child reported that an unidentified man recorded him while he was inside one of the bathroom stalls.
The family member accompanying the child immediately confronted the man, identified as 22-year-old Clayton Snider from New Haven, Connecticut.
The child pointed out Snider, who was found standing in front of the urinals without using them.
When questioned about photographing the child, Snider denied any wrongdoing and left the bathroom.
A family member contacted Disney employees, who alerted law enforcement.
Deputies arrived and questioned Snider, who acknowledged awareness of the accusation but denied involvement.
He eventually agreed to unlock his phone and hand it over to authorities.
Deputies accessed the hidden and recently deleted albums on Snider's phone and discovered a video of an adolescent Caucasian male seated on a toilet inside a bathroom stall.
The video's perspective made it clear that it had been filmed from an elevated position above the stall divider.
Snider was placed under arrest and transported to the Orange County jail on charges of video voyeurism.
