A reported neo-Nazi has been convicted of littering in West Palm Beach.

40-year old Jon Minadeo was stopped back in March when he and a group of others were caught tossing antisemitic flyers onto driveways from a U-Haul truck. Those flyers, like others around the state, were in plastic bags and weighed down by pellets.

Among other things, the literature criticized House Bill 269, the Public Nuisances law that was filed by local State Representative Mike Caruso. It prevents the distribution of any material that evidences "religious or ethnic animus for the purpose of intimidating or threatening the owner or resident."

The law took effect after Minadeo's arrest, so his case is not considered a 'hate crime.'
