Speed Racers "Go" Into Custody on Gandy Bridge

TAMPA -- State troopers on the watch for speeders catch two of them hitting triple digits on the Gandy Bridge, where the speed limit is 55.

27-year-old Joshua Scuddy of Holiday faces a street racing charge, after troopers clocked him going 100 mph behind a group of motorcycles on the westbound span Friday evening around 11. The bikers got away.

31-year-old Brittany Bianchi of St. Petersburg is facing DUI charges as well as speeding. Troopers measured her at 120 mph on the westbound span in a Mercedes. FHP says Bianchi dug her fingernails into the arresting trooper's hands. Her charges include: DUI - 3rd within 10 Years, Habitual Traffic Offender, Resisting Officer with Violence, Battery on Law Enforcement, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Speeding and No Insurance.

Both drivers got driven at safe speeds to the Pinellas County jail and bonded out.
