Woman Cited After Juvenile Alligator Found Living in Bathtub of Her Home

Orange County, FL - An Orange County woman has been cited after Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservations officials discovered a juvenile alligator living in her home's bathtub.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), officials received information from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office regarding the woman's possession of the alligator.

Upon arrival at the residence, FWC officers confirmed the presence of the juvenile alligator inside the bathtub.

The woman explained to officers that she had taken the alligator from her former workplace but no longer had permission to keep the animal.

The woman was issued a citation for her actions, and the juvenile alligator was returned to its authorized owner.
