The Miami Dolphins held off a late rally by the AFC East rival New England Patriots for a 24-17 win in Foxborough on Sunday night.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed 21-of-30 attempts for 249 yards, one touchdown and an interception as he improved to five-and-oh against New England.
Miami is alone atop the AFC East at 2-0.
Patriots' signal caller Mac Jones was 31-of-42 for 231 yards, one touchdown and a pick.
The Patriots are 0-2 for the first time since 2001.
