Most Americans say they're concerned about rapidly developing artificial intelligence.
A new poll from YouGov shows 62% of registered voters are mostly or somewhat concerned about AI growth.
About one in five say they are excited about it, and 16% are neutral.
Answers are similar across party lines, with 75% of Democrats saying they believe AI could someday pose a threat to the existence of the human race and 78% of Republicans saying the same.
