University of Alabama head coach Nick Saban has purchased a beachfront home on Jupiter Island.
The one-time Miami Dolphins head coach paid $17.5 million for the 1.68 acre estate that stretches from the ocean to the Intracoastal.
According to the Palm Beach Post, the purchase was made under a limited liability company, but realtors who represented the seller in the April deal confirmed that the buyer was 71-year old Saban, who was with the Dolphins in 2005 and 2006.
Golf great Tiger Woods and Hall of Fame golfer Gary Player also live on Jupiter Island. Legendary golfer Greg Norman, country singer Alan Jackson and Celine Dion all used to live on the island in Martin County.
