Broward School Board members interviewing the three superintendent finalists ahead of today's final vote. Interim Superintendent Dr. Earlean Smiley is hoping this brings stability to the board after the back-to-back firings of ex-Superintendents Robert Runcie and Vickie Cartwright. The Board voted in February to find a new boss. The finalists are Dr. Peter Licata, a regional superintendent in Palm Beach, Dr. Sito Narcisse from Louisiana and Luis Solano from Michigan. The superintendent makes a three-hundred-and-fifty-thousand-dollar-a-year salary.
