Trump Indictment Unsealed

The Department of Justice has unsealed the federal indictment of former President Trump.

In the indictment, the DOJ says Trump stored classified information including U.S. nuclear programs and defense and weapons capabilities of both the U.S. and foreign countries in boxes during his time as president.

The DOJ alleges when Trump's time as president ended, those boxes containing classified documents that he was not authorized to keep were transported to his Florida residence.

The indictment also details two incidents in 2021 when Trump showed classified documents to others at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

The DOJ will hold a news conference at 3 p.m. Eastern.
