A new app will soon keep parents in one South Florida county updated on real-time information involving their children's school buses.
The "Here Comes the Bus" smart phone app will be rolled out soon in Palm Beach County.
"Over the course of the Fall, we'll be rolling it out to all the parents."
Joe Sanches is in charge of transportation for the school district.
He tells CBS 12 News that the bus-tracking app will be part of a pilot program over the summer, tested by the children of school district employees.
It's been in use since last year in Marion County.
"The app is doing exactly what it's designed to do that's sharing information with parents to make them more informed."
That school district's spokesman Kevin Christian says about 75 percent of families have signed up.
