Florida Judge Keeps In Place Immigration Ruling

A federal judge in Tallahassee blocks the Department of Justice's request to release migrants from custody without court dates. Florida Immigration Coalition's Tomas Kennedy says this looks like nothing more than a political sabotage job, leading to unsafe overcrowding at facilities. The department had argued that if border patrol was not allowed to release migrants quickly, Homeland Security could arrest them and release them with notices to report. The Biden administration wanted to put this on hold while it pursues an appeal in the case brought on by the DeSantis administration.
