CLEARWATER -- Tampa Bay area leaders meet today and tomorrow, to talk about getting ready for hurricanes and other challenges. -
The Resiliency Leadership Summit at the Clearwater Beach Hilton, organized by the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, brings together business and government to talk about helping the Tampa Bay region overcome potential threats. Hurricane preparedness is a top issue. The past two summits produced the Regional Resiliency Action Plan for hurricane best practices.
Panels will also discuss the property insurance crisis and reducing the impact of rising temperatures, as well as transportation and housing.
