Airports around the state have been busy since Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport closed this week.
It's reopened, but only partially and some travelers who were supposed to arrive in Broward County have been showing up at Palm Beach International instead.
The airport has been working with airlines to divert flights since FLL to the south was flooded this week.
Canadian John Lindstrom tells CBS 12 News that he has a cruise to catch in Fort Lauderdale and was planning to put Brightline to use.
"It was a little bit surprising to find the flight was canceled and we're here instead. And apparently there's a high-speed train someplace around here."
Rick Luna and his family from Washington state says he took advantage of that opportunity.
"They said our flight was canceled, then they said they were just going to fly us into West Palm Beach. So now we've gotta Uber to Fort Lauderdale and then catch our Touro ride from there and then go into Miami."
Some airlines brought in larger planes to Palm Beach to accommodate more passengers.
Meanwhile, travelers are urged to check their flight status before arriving at the airport.
