The TSA continuing to find jaw-dropping numbers of guns in passenger’s bags at security checkpoints. More than 6500 last year. That is the highest number of firearms discovered by TSA since the agency was created and 10% more than in 2021.
Of those 6,542 guns found in bags, 88% of them were reportedly loaded according to officials. The potential fine for a firearms violation is from about $3,000 to just under 15-grand plus potential criminal referral for charges.

AND THEN, there’s this one….. Transportation Security Administration officers at the airport in San Antonio, Texas found an 84mm caliber weapon in a checked back on Monday.
The owner of the weapon – was questioned by cops – reportedly told them it was a demilitarized 84MM Carl-Gustaf M4 recoilless rifle that was going to be on display at a convention in Las Vegas.
