Nancy Pelosi says the U.S. is "unwavering" in its commitment to Taiwan.
This morning, the House Speaker's Twitter account posting images of Pelosi receiving honors from Taiwan's president.
In her tweets, Pelosi says they discussed how the U.S. and Taiwan can deepen their economic ties, strengthen their security partnership and defend their shared democratic values.
Pelosi wrote, "Make no mistake -- America remains unwavering in our commitment to the people of Taiwan, now and for decades to come."
