The narrative regarding migration at the southern border is that these people are legitimate asylum seekers. The fact-based on months' worth of data is that they’re almost all illegal immigrants. A recent report studying four months' worth of processed migrants at the southern border revealed that over 50,000 migrants are granted access and are processed with “notice to appear”. Furthermore, only 13% “appeared” when their court date and/or ICE check-in time arrived.
That means at the onset 87% of the migrants at the southern border allowed in under the Biden Administration have been illegal immigrants. But it actually gets worse from there. For the minority who have shown up to court 40.9% of those cases have resulted in courts determining the illegitimacy of the asylum claims. This means 92.3% of migrants crossing the southern border under the Biden Administration are illegal immigrants. The facts are remarkable for all of the wrong reasons.
