The lawrequires principals to require teachers to set aside time for moment of silence; prohibits teachers from making suggestions to nature of any reflection during moment of silence.Previously the decision to hold a moment of silence had been optional.
- Goldman Sachs is expanding its physical operations in South Florida. After beginning to transition some operations to Palm Beach County last year, Goldman Sachs is ready to move key Wall Street staff West Palm Beach. Goldman hasleased spacein West Palm Beach at the 360 Rosemary office tower and according a Bloombergreport is prepared to move 100 Wall Street brokers and bankers into the space. South Florida has begun to be referred to as “Wall Street South”, after numerous Wall Street firms have moved into the area over the past year.
- The Harriet Tubman Freedom Fighters Corp in conjunction with the Southern Poverty Law Center, have joined the legal challenges against Florida’s new state election integrity law. stating: Florida Senate Bill 90 is just the latest attempt by the politicians in Tallahassee to entrench their power by making it more and more difficult for people to vote.
- Effective today Disney’s theme parks won’t require masks for visitors. Their stated policy is that masks are optional for those who’ve been vaccinated – though with Florida’s rule banning vaccine passports no proof of vaccination is required.
