After being the first state-run mass vaccination location in Florida, a change is being made at Hard Rock Stadium.
No longer are seniors with appointments for COVID-19 shots cuing up in the same line as those wanting to get tested for the virus.
Hard Rock Stadium site spokesperson Mike Jachles says the move is being made to improve efficiency.
A thousand shots a day are still expected to be administered at the site to those with appointments.
Testing continues at Gate 13, with no appointments needed.
Getting a vaccine appointment remains a challenge for seniors. Jackson Health briefly opened its scheduling portal this morning, but all slots were filled in less than an hour.
