An area of Banyan Boulevard in West Palm Beach is temporarily closed for the movement of a historic hotel.
The Edgewater Hotel is being moved from Gardenia Street to the city's historic Northwest district. Crews took down light poles along Quadrille Boulevard for the move because the hotel was too wide and West Palm Beach Police say there were several delays.
The Edgewater was temporarily left on Banyan, between Quadrille and Rosemary Avenue overnight and remains there on Monday.
